Fiction in Five Contest Judges:

Becky Nicklay Mosbacher, a public school librarian and avid reader, has BA degrees in English and business education, a degree in library science, and an M.Ed. in educational leadership. Becky has served as a Book of the Year Award judge for ForeWord Reviews for more than a dozen years and has judged the Missoula, Montana, Public Library’s annual writing contest since its inception. Becky lives in Missoula, Montana with her husband, Tim. They have two grown children.

Carol Baldwin is a freelance writer in Charlotte, NC; her most recent book is Teaching the Story: Fiction Writing in Grades 4-8 (Maupin House, 2008). She speaks frequently at national and regional library, writing, and reading conferences and is very active in the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators. When she is not preparing a writing workshop; working on Talking Story, a newsletter devoted to literacy; or writing her historical mid-grade novel; she enjoys being a mother, grandmother, blogging, biking, golfing, and gardening. C4WE Writing Contest Judges:

Frank Puglia, an award-winning photographer who has written various articles on business, motivation and humorous topics for national publications. Frank enjoys sports and gardening as hobbies, and works together with his wife, Dr. Mary Puglia, on her educational, writing and photography endeavors. He and Mary  have a daughter, Stefanie, and they live in Florence, Arizona.

Bethany Nuckolls is an ESL teacher, a fiction writer, and a victim of chronic wanderlust who mostly resides in Charlotte, NC.  She has earned BFA degrees in English Literature and Creative Writing and is currently working towards and MFA at Queens University while traveling.  Her hobbies include wearing disguises, crocheting funny hats, and enjoying a good sunset.  You can check out her blog at bethanynuckolls.wordpress.com.
