    • Thanks, Rachelle. You are welcome to contribute anytime. The deadline is always the Thursday before first Monday of the month.

  1. Great idea! I’ve subscribed to the newsletter and can’t wait.
So are all the articles about writing specifically, or are you interested in other topics?

    • AJ, right now the newsletter is all about writing. I may expand to other topics as the newsletter grows, but for now I want to keep it on just writing. Thanks for your subscription!

  2. I have a nice little article on creative nonfiction. How do I submit it for the newsletter? Just send it to you by email? It’s a little over 300 words. Should I cut it down to below 300?

Do you still want to submit this article? Here are the submission instructions from the Writer’s Guidelines.
      * Please submit all articles and poems as .doc, .pdf, or .rtf attachments to this email address: c4we@instructionalexcellence.net
      * Please submit pictures as .jpg, or .gif attachments to the same email address.
      * Short articles and poems can also be copied and pasted into the body of the email.

  3. I love the idea of a newsletter for us writers! How fun! I know we’ve probably all shared the same type of experiences, such as writer’s block, lack of inspiration, etc., so this will be a wonderful forum to learn how others deal with that stress. I’d also like to contribute.

    • That’s great, Lori. I will welcome your contributions – the deadline for the first issue is next Thursday – January 27. I am looking forward to your writing words! Tell your friends about the newsletter and let’s build a big readership!

  4. This sounds like a good way to have our words printed and read by like-minded readers. Good luck, Janie et al. I’ll try to come up with something short for one of your publications.

    • Thanks, Pat. I will add you to the subscription list if that is OK. And if you would let other writers know about it, we can build a nice list and get the discussion going.
